The Comprehensive Examination is to be conducted for the S6 B. Tech students. Considering the present situation developed due to Covid-19 pandemic, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor has accorded sanction to conduct the ORAL part of the comprehensive examination in Online mode , in the current academic year.  Institutions shall take steps to publish the schedule and conduct the oral part of the examination as per the academic regulations, from 12 th July 2021 onwards.  Order

No. 1745/2020/KTU dated 14.12.2020, University has intimated the conduct of End Semester Examinations for all subjects in all semesters in the conventional offline mode (pen and paper). University will treat the maximum mark to be scored by a student in a subject as 70% of the maximum mark stipulated in the regulation and accordingly, the mark entered by a faculty in the University portal in a subject will be multiplied with 1.42857 (100/70) so as to obtain the final mark scored by the student in the subject. It was also stated that duration of examination will be 135 minutes instead of 180 minutes. In

Provision to apply for UG and PG Official Transcript through e- portal Notification The students are hereby informed that from 08.03.2021 onwards they can apply for the Official Transcript through e-portal and to update the address to which it has to be despatched. The Official Transcript will be despatched directly to the residential address of the students. Postal Charges will be applicable. Those who are in urgency can collect it directly from the University. Processing & issuance of Official Transcript will be done on the basis of priority of the request number.  Those who want to do credential evaluation through WES (Canada) can apply Official Transcript through e-portal. For other documents related to WES, the students can forward their request along with WES Reference Number to soexam@ktu.edu.in. The students who are pursuing the UG / PG programmes can also apply for the Official Transcript if they have cleared all the semesters up to which they are applying.

  Clarification regarding conduct of 2nd internal test for all 1st semester students     Circular   University had issued a revised schedule for academic activities during the first week of Jan 2021, with an objective of conducting the second series test (of all first semester programmes) in offline mode when students are available in the campus. It was felt that all first semester students will get familiarized with the system proposed for their end semester examinations. Many Heads of Institutions informed that presently, the end semester examinations are going on for all final year programmes in the colleges. The University would like to clarify that practical examinations are to be conducted in offline mode only. However, in this unprecedented situation developed due to Covid-19, in most emergency cases, the Heads of Institutions may allow students another chance to attend lab exams during first week of April 2021.
